"Hyena Cub" 
 
This young Spotted Hyena was the star of the show during our visit to the Skukuza region of Kruger National Park in South Africa over summer. Each afternoon we would park up near the den and wait for the cubs to emerge and begin their day, nursing and grooming with the mums and aunties before heading off to explore nearby.
