Growing up in the sunny foothills of the Cairngorms in North-East Scotland meant spending plenty of time outdoors. Playtime as a kid was exploring the rugged hills, wooded slopes and trickling burns of the highlands, instilling a fiery passion for nature and the great outdoors into my mind from a young age. After moving to Australia this manifested itself as time spent in the ocean, freediving and exploring the coastline of the great red continent, but I longed for the kelp lined shores of Scotland in the back of my mind.
Upon returning recently for only the second time in nearly two decades I was determined to do my childhood justice and explore some of the wilder parts of Scotland.
I hope you enjoy my favourite shots from our time exploring the highlands and hebrides of Scotland...
