Sony Alpha Awards 2023
Lewis' image "Aliens Exist" recently won both the grand prize and first place in the nature category of the Sony Alpha Awards. The image depicts a southern calamari squid and was taken on a night dive in Geographe Bay in Western Australia.
Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year 2023
Lewis was recently awarded the Portfolio prize in this year's Australian Nature Photographer of the Year. His portfolio "Ocean Aerials" attempts to convey the peace and tranquility that the ocean exudes whilst also highlighting its impressive biodiversity.
